Who benefits from the land?

To denounce the financialization of French farmland by large agro-industrial groups, we accompanied Terre de Liens to the Salon de l'Agriculture for the release of their new report “À qui profite la terre?” (Who benefits from the land?).
For this operation, we had good organic potato chips made on a Terre de Liens farm. We then designed packaging to convey our message: agro-industry is a threat to peasant land. A QR Code linking to the report.
Once the chips were packaged, we sent some to the press, inviting them to find out more. Then we built a market-gardener stand on which we replaced all the fruit and vegetables with potato chips. A very direct way of showing what might happen in a world without farmers.
